Parlier Cabinets...

Parlier Custom Made Cabinets began back in the 1960's after Mack Parlier started building houses in the area. After honing his skills for a period of time with other cabinet makers, Mack felt that he would be able to turn out high-quality cabinets working on his own. He began his business in the basement of the house that he was born and raised in on Old Beech Mountain. Mack has since hand-crafted custom kitchen cabinets and many other custom furniture pieces for many residents of Old Beech Mountain, Linville, Linville Ridge, Grandfather Glenn, Grandfather Golf & Country Club, Charlotte, Boone, Newland, and many other locations.

Mark Parlier, Mack's only son began working with his father in the 90's learning the craft of cabinet making. They have completed many projects together. Hopefully, Mack and Mark will be able to teach Mark's two sons the art so that they may continue the tradition of cabinet making that Mack started over 45 years ago.

Custom furniture in your home allows you to take control of your creative ideas by fitting pieces into the spaces that you have without having to purchase something from a furniture store that is too large or too small. The possibilities are endless!

Kitchen...

When choosing to have custom kitchen cabinets created for your home, you can decide the layout, whether or not you will want shelves, sliding shelves, drawers, ect. You can choose how to use every inch of space to get the most out of your kitchen layout! There is no wasted space when your cabinets are custom made!

The following custom red oak cabinets, wainscotting, crown, & dental moldings were created for a family in the Boone, NC area.

The cabinets have Dutch-style doors and all of the woodwork was finished with an English Chestnut stain.

The kitchen counter that holds the sink was built higher than 36" to accomodate the homeowners height.




The following custom kitchen cabintes are made from Ash. The floors are also Ash.










The following cabinet has glass doors, adjustable shelving, and was gel stained to match the existing cabinetry for the customer.

Living Room...

Custom-sized entertainment center with adjustable shelving underneath and to each side. The TV sits on a slide-out "tray" that can be turned to the left or right. Hidden Doors can also be added to hide the TV when not in use.
Custom Curio-Cabinet built in to the backside of the Kitchen Cabinets... Adjustable glass shelving and mounted lighting...

Other Furniture...

Custom Sized Built-In Display Cabinet. This was created for the Boone Fire Department Station #1 on King Street in Boone, NC. There will be glass doors and glass shelving added. This cabinet was made from Oak and stained with Aged Oak Gel Stain and then glazed to create a further "aged" look and then finished with a Satin Finish.






Custom Wet-Bar created for a family in Deep Gap, NC. The family had a picture of one they liked, and this one was created slightly larger and with more detailing. A granite counter top will be added by the owner to finish the look.
The back view shows a 2-tiered counter along with 12 storage spaces for beverages, wine glass racks above, and a cabinet door on the right with an adjustable shelf.


Baby Changing Table...after the "changing" stage is over, the piece can be used for extra storage (toys, blankets, clothes, TV Stand, ect.). Reclining Chair...
